New medical technologies:

Medical Park Izmir has achieved excellent results in the field of cancer treatment thanks to the latest technologies and developments. Some of these technologies are: brachytherapy and photodynamic therapy.

Brachytherapy (in a different way interstitial radiation therapy) is a new kind of radiotherapy. The difference from the usual method is that here the source of radiation itself is injected directly into the affected organ. This avoids the radiation of neighboring tissues. This method in Medical Park Izmir is actively used for the treatment of cervical cancer, prostate, tongue and other organs. Rehabilitation after this method of treatment is much shorter.
