POTENTIAL OF THERMAL TOURISM IN TURKiYE

Turkey, located on an important geothermal belt, is the 7th in the world in terms of potential and wealth resources and has more than 1500 sources, the temperature of which varies from 20 ° C to 110 ° C, and the flow rate is 2-500 l / sec.

In Turkey there are more than 2000 thermal facilities in such cities as Yalova, Afyon, Ankara, Canakkale, Balikesir, Kutahya, Usak, Eskishehir, Izmir, Manisa, Aydin, Denizli, Amasya, Sivas, Tokat, Erzincan, Bolu, Duzce and Sakarya. These modern facilities provide access to thermal waters within hotels, to physiotherapy, a Turkish bath and mud baths and provide services of international standards. Some thermal tourist regions of Turkey have easy access to beaches, certified blue flag, winter sports centers and outdoor sports centers.
